Old Bag of Nails – Hilliard | January 14, 2025

For our January meeting, we will welcome Josh Miller as our guest presenter. Josh will be presenting on the basics of euro nymphing.

Josh is the author of the book “Euro Nymphing: Tips, Tactics, and Techniques“. He is a former member of the Fly Fishing Team USA, as well as a coach of the US Youth fly fishing team. He is a signature tier for Orvis, Fulling Mill and others. Currently he is a full time guide based out of Pennsylvania.

As usual, we will start gathering at 6 pm with the presentation starting around 7 pm.

Nocterra Brewing – Powell | November 21, 2024 at 6 PM

COFF will be hosting a fly tying night at Nocterra Brewing (Powell) on Thursday, November 21, starting at 6 pm. Attendees will need to bring their own vice and tying equipment. This will also be an “open” tie, meaning attendees can tie whatever patterns they want.

We will have a couple tables reserved for us, so hope to see you there!

Old Bag of Nails – Hilliard | November 12, 2024

Please join us at Old Bag of Nails in Hilliard as we welcome Captain Jeff Liskay, who will speak on great lakes fly fishing opportunities for pike and musky.

Jeff, owner and operator of Great Lakes Fly Fishing, is a hard working guide, instructor and Ambassador. When he’s not taking someone fishing, you can find Jeff all over the Great Lakes devoting his time promoting the region, supporting its fly shops and working with the local fishing community.

Our meeting is in the upstairs banquet room, which you can access through the side entrance to the building. If you use the front entrance, you’ll have to walk through the restaurant to get to the stairs, which are located in the rear of the restaurant.

As always, we will start gathering at 6 pm to swap fish stories, and the presentation will start around 7 pm.
