Old Bag of Nails – Hilliard | February 11, 2025

For our February meeting, we will welcome Ethan Simmons as our guest presenter. Ethan will be presenting on non-traditional sportfishes of Central Ohio, as well as sharing some other ODNR-related news and updates.

Ethan is an aquatic habitat biologist with ODNR for Region 1 (central Ohio) overseeing management of stream fishes as well as access projects across central Ohio.

As usual, we will start gathering at 6 pm with the presentation starting around 7 pm.

Old Bag of Nails – Hilliard | January 14, 2025

For our January meeting, we will welcome Josh Miller as our guest presenter. Josh will be presenting on the basics of euro nymphing.

Josh is the author of the book “Euro Nymphing: Tips, Tactics, and Techniques“. He is a former member of the Fly Fishing Team USA, as well as a coach of the US Youth fly fishing team. He is a signature tier for Orvis, Fulling Mill and others. Currently he is a full time guide based out of Pennsylvania.

As usual, we will start gathering at 6 pm with the presentation starting around 7 pm.

Nocterra Brewing – Powell | November 21, 2024 at 6 PM

COFF will be hosting a fly tying night at Nocterra Brewing (Powell) on Thursday, November 21, starting at 6 pm. Attendees will need to bring their own vice and tying equipment. This will also be an “open” tie, meaning attendees can tie whatever patterns they want.

We will have a couple tables reserved for us, so hope to see you there!
